For those who have the pleasure of enjoying a stay on the beautiful shores of Lake Maggiore and discovering the town of Cannobio and its surroundings, in the main street of the Borgo, full of shops and close to the lake lies our Antico Borgo B&B.
Our strong point is to offer rooms of large size, on one or two levels, with a choice of single rooms without balcony, double deluxe rooms with balcony, superior rooms with living area and large balcony, junior suites with balcony and suites with mezzanine and large terrace. The building has been finely renovated using fine materials such as the wood of the floors and the bathroom finishes, paying attention to the colour matching of the shades. A refined choice has been made in the furnishings, combining modern style with antique furniture.
The structure consists of eight rooms on three floors. On each floor there are two rooms, one overlooking the internal courtyard and the other overlooking the street in the historic centre.
There is a large stairwell, where the original steps of the period have been maintained, which comfortably connects the first floor with the third.
Each room has a large private bathroom with shower, a balcony or terrace overlooking the streets of the Borgo or the lovely private courtyard.
In the winter of 2021, a modern and technological air conditioning system was installed in each room, equipped with sensors positioned on the window frames to interrupt the flow of cold air if the windows are opened. Each guest with a remote control will be able to manage the temperature inside his or her room.
A large mini-bar with a wide choice of drinks is available in each room.
On the ground floor we have a breakfast room with buffet, directly connected to the outdoor courtyard, a pleasant and intimate place to sit and enjoy breakfast time.
In the courtyard there are several small tables with chairs where you can spend pleasant moments both in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon enjoying a cool drink. Every year, in spring, the courtyard is decorated with colourful flowers and plants from our area to create a special little corner.
Adjacent to the courtyard we have created a reading room exclusively for our guests with sofas and armchairs where you can relax reading a book or connect to your PC.
